Support MCP for Workflows
It would be great if we could trigger flows from the MCP client, as this provides more value than running them piece by piece or relying on the MCP client for planning logic, which doesn’t fully understand the business value.
Support MCP for pieces without connections
It would be great if we could add an MCP without connections. This would allow us to include: Code Pieces Pieces in Embed Mode Utility Pieces
Allow Preconfiguration of Parameters in MCP for Standalone Tools
Currently, users can preconfigure parameters when connecting MCP to a workflow. However, this capability is missing when tools are connected directly to MCP. As a result, every time a standalone MCP tool is called, users must manually provide all input parameters — including long strings, UUIDs, and other repetitive identifiers. This creates unnecessary friction, especially for tools that require complex or lengthy inputs. Adding support for preconfigured parameters at the tool level (outside of workflows) would significantly improve usability and reduce manual errors.
Add Search Capability for Ask AI (GPT 4.1)
The GPT 4.1 now supports websearch in the API, We should expose this option in the ASK ai.
Add permissions control for MCP
Only the selected tools are available for MCP client to use. For example - when connecting an MCP for getting calendar events, I do not want to allow the client to modify my calendar for safety reasons.

Issue with MCP's with Claude
Hi - One thing we were trying to use AP for was creating MCP’s to then add to Claude Web, since Claude Web custom MCP connectors can be used by Claude’s app in the Slack marketplace so we can effectively use any MCP in Slack. The problem is there’s no other auth mechanisms besides OAuth, and AP has a different Auth method. Is there a way we can figure our AP MCP’s in Claude web via these inputs or any workarounds?
